The government is seeking mandatory restitution and a forfeiture money judgment of at least $953,311.34. The wire fraud charge carries up to 20 years in prison.
Under the signed federal plea agreement filed Sept. 30, Gold agreed to plead guilty to Count 1, wire fraud, in exchange for the U.S. Attorney’s Office declining further charges related to wire fraud, bank fraud, aggravated identity theft, and federal tax offenses stemming from the scheme.
Gold pleaded guilty to wire fraud under 18 U.S.C. § 1343, which carries up to 20 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to three years of supervised release.
Gold agreed to pay $822,461.34 in mandatory victim restitution and consented to a forfeiture money judgment of at least $953,311.34.
Gold also consented to an FDIC Order of Prohibition barring her from future employment at financial institutions and waived standard appeal, post-conviction, and FOIA rights.
