Reports Emerge of Possible Flex Security Breach
Flex, a multibillion-dollar electronics manufacturing services and supply-chain solutions provider, may have suffered a data breach.
According to a September 21, 2026 post on dark web monitoring site Ransomware.live, hacker group Metaencryptor claimed to be behind an attack on Flex that allegedly involved 365 gigabytes of data. The suspected attack was estimated to have occurred the same day the post was made.
HookPhish, another cybersecurity blog, similarly reported that Metaencryptor claimed to be responsible for an attack on the Texas-based technology company.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Flex data breach.
