Ill. (WCIA) — There’s a new minor available for all University of Illinois students, and it’s a program encouraging the next generation to explore entrepreneurship
WCIA 3’s Amanda Brennan spoke with the Senior Director of Entrepreneurship at the Gies College of Business, Stephanie Larson, to learn more details about the entrepreneurship minor.

Larson said it’s a partnership between the Gies College of Business and the Grainger College of Engineering. The 16-credit-hour program <a href="https://bitcomme.com/brandhouse-launches-e-commerce-platform-2/” title=”Brandhouse launches e-commerce platform”>launches this fall.
“We really wanted to open up access to provide the opportunity for more students on campus to learn that entrepreneurial mindset. And, with this being open to all students across campus, all undergraduate students, this was a great way to do that,” Larson explained.
Students will learn skills that they can take to “virtually any career path,” She also said you don’t have to be an engineering or business student to pursue this minor, because “entrepreneurship is for everyone.”
