Fla. (WCTV) – A Crawfordville woman is in the hospital and a well-known Panacea food market is picking up the pieces after the woman crashed into the store overnight Saturday
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the driver was heading north on US 98 just before 3:30 a.m. State troopers say she lost control of her truck while going around a curve, veered off the road, and slammed into Mineral Springs Seafood.
FHP’s initial crash <a href="https://bitcomme.com/weekly-intelligence-report-14-aug-2026/” title=”Weekly Intelligence Report – 14 Aug 2026″>report states the 22-year-old has serious injuries but is stable.
Mineral Springs Seafood posted on Facebook, sharing photos of significant damage to the store. WCTV contacted the business and obtained permission to use the photos.
The seafood market is beloved in the Panacea community. Known as “that place with the dips”, the small family-owned business has been around for nearly 20 years.
The owners told WCTV that they’re praying for the woman who was injured.
