Gree E-Commerce Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Chinese home appliance giant Gree Electric Appliances, has completed a corporate registration change in which Dong Mingzhu stepped down as legal representative and executive director. Zhang Xinglei has taken over as legal representative and will serve as director and manager overseeing company affairs. The subsidiary was established in November 2019 with registered capital of 100 million yuan (approximately $14.9 million). This marks the third time in recent years that Dong has relinquished a management role at a Gree subsidiary, following her earlier departures from Zhuhai Gree Electronic Components Co., Ltd. and Zhuhai Zero-Boundary Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. She remains chairman and president of Gree Electric Appliances.

Corporate registration records show that Gree E-Commerce Co., Ltd. recently completed a change of legal representative and executive director, with Zhang Xinglei taking over.
According to data from Qichacha and Tianyancha, the corporate registration change took place on September 16. Dong Mingzhu no longer serves as legal representative or executive director of Gree E-Commerce Co., Ltd.; Zhang Xinglei has assumed the role of legal representative and will serve as director and manager overseeing company affairs.
Gree E-Commerce Co., Ltd. was established in November 2019 with registered capital of 100 million yuan (approximately $14.9 million). Its business scope covers internet sales, domestic trade agency services, and special equipment sales, among others. The company is wholly owned by Gree Electric Appliances, Inc. of Zhuhai (000651.SZ).
This marks the third time in recent years that Dong has stepped down from a role at a Gree subsidiary. In January of this year, Zhuhai Gree Electronic Components Co., Ltd. underwent a corporate registration change in which Dong relinquished her positions as legal representative and executive director, with Gree Electric Appliances vice president Fang Xiangjian taking over. Earlier, in June 2025, she also stepped down as legal representative and chairman of Zhuhai Zero-Boundary Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd.
Despite gradually exiting management positions at multiple subsidiaries, Dong Mingzhu continues to serve as chairman and president of Gree Electric Appliances, steering the overall operations of the home appliance giant.
