Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records founder, Don Jazzy, is offering scholarships covering up to 100 per cent of tuition fees for young Nigerians seeking to acquire technology and digital skills through TS Academy’s 2027 programme.
The Don Jazzy Tech Scholarship 2027, unveiled by the musician on Monday, October 26, is open to applicants interested in developing skills in various technology-related fields, including Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Software Development, Content Creation, Digital Marketing and Product Design.
Other courses available under the programme include Data Science, Virtual Assistance, Project Management, Product Management, DevOps Engineering, Graphics Design, Frontend Development and Backend Development.
According to information published on the programme’s website, most of the courses are beginner-friendly, allowing applicants without previous technology experience to apply.
Successful applicants will receive tuition discounts of up to 100 per cent, depending on the scholarship awarded. The programme also offers a discount on the application fee.
Beyond tuition support, the programme provides practical training, mentorship, internship opportunities and job placement support to help beneficiaries develop relevant skills for the digital economy.
TS Academy says it is accredited by the American Council of Training and Development.
The programme also includes additional support for selected beneficiaries, with 50 laptops available to eligible students and data assistance potentially provided to 500 students.
However, laptop and data support are not guaranteed for every applicant. According to the academy, beneficiaries will be selected based on eligibility, genuine needs and the availability of resources.
