The District Trick or Treat helped provide customers for vendors at the second to last downtown Quincy Farmers Market
Halloween is next week but in downtown Quincy on Saturday, hundreds of people participated in a trick-or-treat event hosted by The District.
The event also happened during the second to last District Farmers Market and organizers said the vendors at the market saw great benefits from the Halloween festivities.
“It’s really awesome to have the trick or treaters here today but when they have events like this, we always bring a crowd,” said Serena Mendiola, director of the Farmers Market.
Mendiola said the hundreds of visitors to downtown Quincy are welcomed by the Farmers Market vendors for a couple big reasons.
“[The trick-or-treaters are] always here to look at their products and also buy some of their products too, so we get really good <a href="https://bitcomme.com/business-analyst-certification-courses-career-scope-2026/” title=”Business Analyst Certification: Courses & Career Scope 2026″>business,” Mendiola explained.
Other businesses in the area provided the event’s participants with treats. There will be one more Farmers Market, which will happen on the Sixth Street Promenade.
