Creatio, a Boston-based provider of AI-powered customer relationship management and workflow automation software, has announced a $300 million investment in its Bank.AI platform between 2026 and 2028. The commitment will accelerate product development, expand its banking-focused AI capabilities, and strengthen the training, deployment, and partner infrastructure needed to support enterprise-wide AI adoption among financial institutions. The announcement follows 48% year-over-year growth in Creatio’s financial services business.
The investment reflects Creatio’s strategy of developing a unified platform where employees and AI agents can collaborate across customer-facing and operational workflows.
Bank.AI combines the company’s AI CRM, automation technology, and prebuilt banking agents to help financial institutions manage customer relationships, improve service delivery, and streamline internal operations.
The platform focuses on three principal banking functions: Growth, Service, and Operations.
Within Growth, AI agents are designed to support customer acquisition, onboarding, and opportunities to expand relationships with existing customers. These capabilities are intended to help banks identify customer needs and improve the efficiency of sales and relationship management activities.
Service agents focus on customer support, helping financial institutions provide faster responses and more personalized assistance across different service channels.
Operations agents are designed to automate activities involving compliance, regulatory reporting, and middle- and back-office processes. These functions can involve large volumes of information and repetitive administrative tasks, creating opportunities for workflow automation.
Creatio plans to use part of the investment to expand its AI Studio, which provides no-code tools for designing personal and enterprise AI agents.
The company will also enhance centralized AI governance, integrations, security, AI modality management, and enterprise-grade monitoring capabilities.
These investments are intended to give financial institutions greater control over how AI agents are deployed and managed across business functions.
Beyond product development, Creatio will expand its AI adoption and enablement programs for customers and implementation partners.
The company plans to provide additional training programs, AI accelerator workshops, and banking-specific implementation guidance to help financial institutions identify and deploy practical AI applications.
Creatio will also strengthen its global partner network by providing implementation firms with additional expertise and resources for deploying its technology.
The company has established relationships with financial institutions and other organizations including Nasdaq, First National Bank of Pennsylvania, Metro Bank, MetLife, CEC Bank, OTP Bank, National Bank of Panama, and ESL Credit Union.
The $300 million commitment builds on Creatio’s broader Unlimited Enterprise strategy, which is designed to enable employees and AI agents to work together on a single platform without conventional restrictions on users, agents, workflows, or applications.
Creatio has also launched its Bank.AI Hub, a resource designed to help financial services executives evaluate AI applications and implementation strategies.
The company is scheduled to host a digital event focused on practical banking AI applications on September 24, 2026, followed by the Bank.AI Summit in Chicago on October 27, 2026.
Creatio serves thousands of customers across more than 100 countries and reports that its platform automates tens of millions of workflows daily.
“The next generation of banking will be built around people and AI agents working together across customer and operational workflows. Our $300 million investment in Creatio Bank.AI will accelerate this transition, giving financial institutions the technology, industry expertise, and partner ecosystem to adopt AI faster and at enterprise scale.”
