Artificial Intelligence
August 19, 2026
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 19, 2026 — Cohesity, a leader in AI and data security, today announced Cohesity Catalyst 2026, its flagship global virtual event taking place September 16–17 and broadcasting live across the Americas (AMER), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific/Japan (APJ). The free summit will examine how enterprises can secure and recover data as AI agents become embedded in critical business workflows, and as those same systems introduce new resilience and recovery risks.
Hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist Emily Chang, Cohesity Catalyst will open with a keynote from Cohesity CEO and President Sanjay Poonen on the resilience imperative: why enterprises need to rethink how they protect, secure, and recover data as AI becomes both a tool and a threat.
The event will feature perspectives from leaders across AI, cybersecurity, enterprise technology, and global business, including:
- Chris Kempczinski, President and CEO, McDonald’s
- Jason Clinton, Deputy CISO, Anthropic
- Matthew Horowitz, AVP, Enterprise Platform Operations, CVS Health
- Patrick Ringelberg, Domain Architect, Datacenter, Cloud & AI, Rijkswaterstaat
- Thomas Kurian, CEO, Google Cloud
- Dr. Matt Wood, Chief AI and Technology Officer, AWS
- Kari Briski, Vice President of Generative AI, NVIDIA
- And more
In a featured session, award-winning actor, comedian, and writer Brett Goldstein, known for Ted Lasso, Shrinking, and Office Romance, will join Cohesity CMO Carol Carpenter for a fireside chat on navigating change, confronting failure, and finding the courage to reinvent.
“AI agents are changing how enterprises operate, and resilience now has to extend beyond infrastructure to the data, applications, and workflows those agents touch,” said Carol Carpenter, Chief Marketing Officer, Cohesity. “At Catalyst, we’ll bring together technology leaders, customers, and partners to show what control, recovery, and transformation look like for the agentic enterprise.”
The summit will also feature new Cohesity research exposing where enterprise recovery plans fall short. Attendees will get a first look at new capabilities, including Cohesity Maestro and Agent Resilience, designed to bring visibility and control to multi-agent environments. The sessions will also show how autonomous recovery workflows can help teams restore critical applications and the minimum viable company faster after an attack.
Cohesity Catalyst is free to attend, with live broadcasts available across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ at the times below. All sessions will be available on-demand following the live broadcasts.
- AMER: Wednesday, September 16, 2026 – 9:00 a.m. PT
- EMEA: Wednesday, September 16, 2026 – 9:00 a.m. CEST
- APJ: Thursday, September 17, 2026 – 11:00 a.m. SGT
