Global Top E-Commerce’s (002640.SZ) 2026 third-quarter report shows first-three-quarter revenue of 3.8 billion yuan (approximately $571.4 million), down 5.43% year on year, while net profit attributable to shareholders jumped 1,280.91% to 199 million yuan (approximately $29.9 million). Stripping out non-recurring items, however, the company still posted a net loss of 5.1184 million yuan (approximately $770,000). The profit came mainly from roughly 204 million yuan (approximately $30.7 million) in non-recurring gains and losses, including 165 million yuan (approximately $24.8 million) from asset disposals and 41.507 million yuan (approximately $6.2 million) from debt restructuring, plus a 207 million yuan (approximately $31.1 million) <a href="https://bitcomme.com/redbird-capital-sound-ventures-strike-1-billion-ai-and-media-investment-deal-2/” title=”RedBird Capital, Sound Ventures Strike $1 Billion AI and Media Investment Deal”>investment gain booked after subsidiary Shenzhen Safu Commercial was declared bankrupt by a court and removed from consolidation. Operating cash flow was negative 208 million yuan (approximately $31.3 million), and inventory rose 237.31% from the start of the year on Singles’ Day stockpiling. In the third quarter alone, the adjusted net loss was 27.3324 million yuan (approximately $4.1 million), with the core business yet to return to profit.
Key Elements
Global Top E-Commerce (002640.SZ) disclosed its 2026 third-quarter report on the evening of Oct. 27, and the numbers present a sharp contrast: first-three-quarter revenue came in at 3.8 billion yuan (approximately $571.4 million), down 5.43% year on year, while net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company surged 1,280.91% to 199 million yuan (approximately $29.9 million). Yet net profit after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was a loss of 5.1184 million yuan (approximately $770,000), meaning the core business has yet to climb out of the red.
The gap is even starker in the third quarter alone. Quarterly revenue was 1.236 billion yuan (approximately $185.8 million), down 10.95% year on year, a steeper decline than the nine-month average; net profit attributable to shareholders was 13.9828 million yuan (approximately $2.1 million), up 227.76%; and adjusted net profit was negative 27.3324 million yuan (approximately $4.1 million), down 154.44%.
What supports the 199 million yuan in book profit is not an operating improvement. The financial report shows non-recurring gains and losses totaled about 204 million yuan (approximately $30.7 million) from the start of the year through the end of the reporting period, including 165 million yuan (approximately $24.8 million) from disposal of non-current assets, 41.507 million yuan (approximately $6.2 million) from debt restructuring and 6.3651 million yuan (approximately $960,000) in government subsidies. Investment income over the same period came to 207 million yuan (approximately $31.1 million), up 11,537.74% year on year, which the company said was mainly because Shenzhen Safu Commercial Co. is no longer included in the consolidation scope.

Note: Third-quarter revenue was 1.236 billion yuan (approximately $185.8 million), down 10.95% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders was 13.9828 million yuan (approximately $2.1 million), up 227.76%; adjusted net profit was -27.3324 million yuan (approximately $4.1 million), down 154.44%.
Safu Commercial’s exit was not a voluntary liquidation by the company. Its bankruptcy petition was filed by an outside creditor, Yao Jing, and the Qianhai Cooperation Zone People’s Court in Shenzhen has ruled it bankrupt and appointed an administrator to take over. Global Top E-Commerce said it “has lost control of Safu.” The deconsolidation strips out a loss-making
Asset disposals, debt restructuring and the removal of the loss-making subsidiary from consolidation together pushed profit from about 14 million yuan (approximately $2.1 million) a year earlier to nearly 200 million yuan. Strip out those one-off factors, however, and the core business is still not back in the black.
The cash flow trend offers another angle. Net operating cash flow for the first three quarters was negative 208 million yuan (approximately $31.3 million), down 41.06% year on year, which the company attributed mainly to increased stockpiling for Singles’ Day. On the balance sheet, inventory at period-end was 446 million yuan (approximately $67.1 million), up 237.31% from the start of the year; prepayments were 43.662 million yuan (approximately $6.6 million), down 61.18%, mainly because prepaid supplier goods arrived; and accounts payable were 72.3732 million yuan (approximately $10.9 million), down 58.99%, also related to Safu Commercial’s deconsolidation.
On asset scale, total assets at the end of the reporting period were 2.929 billion yuan (approximately $440.4 million), up 4.35% from the end of last year; equity attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 696 million yuan (approximately $104.7 million), up 53.30%. Net cash flow from financing activities was 161 million yuan (approximately $24.2 million), down 44.63%, mainly because Shanghai Youyi’s financing scale shrank during the reporting period.
Global Top E-Commerce was once one of the first cross-border e-commerce concept stocks to list on China’s A-share market. Its Youyi E-Commerce unit handles cross-border imports, connecting Chinese consumers and e-commerce platforms with overseas brands; on the export side it focuses on fast fashion, operated through entities including Sateng, Yunxi, Yunjin and Zhihuijichuang. In recent years, Amazon‘s account-suspension wave, tighter rules on small-parcel direct mail and shrinking margins in the broad-catalog model have kept the company’s business contracting. Global Egrow E-Commerce previously entered bankruptcy reorganization, and Safu Commercial has now reached bankruptcy liquidation.
Judging from the current financial structure, Global Top E-Commerce’s operating focus looks more like working through legacy burdens than expanding. For the market, the signal from this quarterly report is relatively clear: the high profit growth comes from one-off gains and has limited sustainability; what really determines the company’s value is whether the remaining core business can restore its ability to generate cash, and how many legacy problems still need to be cleared out. As of the midday break on Oct. 28, Global Top E-Commerce’s stock was at 3.27 yuan per share, up 2.19%.
