What can you do with 300,000 Capital One miles?
There are plenty of ways you can use 300,000 Capital One miles. You can redeem your miles toward eligible travel purchases or transfer them to Capital One’s travel partners, depending on how you want to use your rewards. Here are a couple of examples to get you started.
Cover $3,000 in Disney tickets
Capital One cards that earn miles let you redeem those miles toward past travel purchases. Many theme park tickets aren’t typically categorized as travel by merchants, but there’s a workaround for Disney tickets: Buy them through popular authorized reseller Undercover Tourist, and your purchase will be coded as travel.
With 300,000 miles, that’s $3,000 worth of theme park tickets, which can cut out a huge chunk of expenses on an upcoming Disney trip.
Book flights worldwide
Capital One transfer partners also give you plenty of opportunities to use 300,000 miles for flights around the world, including business-class fares.
If you’re interested in visiting Taiwan, for example, you can transfer your miles to EVA Air for flights to and from Taipei. The transfer ratio isn’t the best unless there’s a transfer bonus, but EVA Air often has much more award availability for premium fares to Asia than other airlines.
You can also use Flying Blue, Virgin Red, Air Canada Aeroplan, and many other partners to fly to Europe and beyond. With 300,000 miles, you could easily cover flights for the whole family.
