Evon Markum
Evon Markum is the new marketing director of Browning Funeral Home.
Markum brings more than 30 years of marketing, community relations, nonprofit, and leadership experience to the Browning Funeral Home team.
Evon and her husband, Don Markum, have deep roots in Parker County and a longstanding commitment to serving the local community. Evon Markum previously served as vice president of Marketing at a Parker County bank for nearly 19 years, where she developed and implemented marketing initiatives while building strong relationships throughout the community.
Don Markum also has a history of service in Parker County. He served as a coach at Aledo Christian School before later serving as Parker County elections administrator.
Most recently, Evon Markum served as Community Relations manager for ASM Global, promoting events and strengthening community engagement for venues including the Bank of Oklahoma Events Center and Cox Convention Center. She has also served as executive director of a nonprofit organization and continues to be actively involved with several nonprofits in the area.
