Boscov’s teams with Manhattan to modernize fulfillment
Boscov’s, a family-owned department store chain with 51 locations across nine Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states, has selected Manhattan Associate’s ActiveOrder platform to attain a unified view of inventory and modernize fulfillment and customer service across its store network.
Manhattan Associates provides supply chain and omnichannel commerce solutions.
Boscov’s now has a single, real-time view of its inventory, along with flexible fulfillment options such as ship-from-store and buy online and pick up in store (BOPIS), all powered by Manhattan’s cloud-native platform, according to a press release.
The platform also delivers automatic quarterly system updates.
“Boscov’s has always been differentiated on value, assortment and service. Partnering with Manhattan allows us to extend that promise into our receiving, fulfillment and customer service operations,” Jim Boscov, chairman and CEO at Boscov’s, said in the release. “By unifying how we allocate and fulfill inventory across our stores, we can keep products closer to customers, reduce out-of-stocks and deliver a smoother omnichannel experience across our stores.”
