BMSS Advisors & CPAs acquired Aviso Group, effective July 1, expanding the Top 100 Firm’s footprint in Alabama and launching the BMSS Family of Companies.

The deal grows the BMSS team to approximately 410 employees and adds two offices in Brewton and Fairhope, Alabama. BMSS, based in Birmingham, ranked No. 83 on Accounting Today‘s 2026 Top 100 Firms
list, reporting $85 million in revenue.

Through this transaction, the firm also created the BMSS Family of Companies, which comprises Abacus Technologies, BMSS Wesson Wealth Solutions, and Payroll & Benefit Solutions. The combined firm will provide advisory, tax, assurance, estate and trust, valuation, payroll, wealth management, cybersecurity, IT, artificial intelligence and business intelligence services.
BMSS is a member of BDO Alliance USA, a nationwide association of independently owned accounting, consulting and service firms.
