Old-School Forum for Human Art & Retro Tech 31/10/26
Hi folks, Paulee here. You know…I’ve been on internet forums since around 2003; most of my adult life.
Forums haven’t always been ideal (great insights often existed alongside a lot of salt and argumentativeness) but they always felt like a great resource AND a digital home; way more than any other form of social media. Perhaps the slower pace calmed my racing AuDHD mind; perhaps the mainly-text format was less overwhelming…anyhow, forums – love ’em.
Recently, the forums I frequent have been overrun by generative AI content. I realised that I’d like a space away from all of the noise, a place where I can happily be “left behind”. So welcome to Analogue Sanity, were “art” means human art and “retro” actually means retro – not some kind of implanting modern technology into a retro shell.
It’s early days yet, and I’m sure the design & scope of the forum will develop a little over time, but if you’d like to – I’d love you to join me!
