Global inflation pressures are keeping central banks wary, which keeps borrowing costs and growth expectations in focus. That uncertainty has pushed more attention onto companies helping businesses cut costs and boost productivity with artificial intelligence. If AI tools can help do more with the same budget, that matters. This article looks at three AI stocks from our screener that tap directly into that theme.
The stocks highlighted below are just a starting sample, since the full AI screen surfaced 33 more companies with equally compelling narratives that are not covered here. If you want to identify and analyze your own ideas across chips, software and cloud AI plays, head straight to the Artificial Intelligence/ AI Stocks screener.
Overview: Docebo is a Toronto based software company that runs a cloud learning platform for enterprises, using tools like Harmony Search, Advanced Analytics Pack and Docebo Creator to apply AI to content discovery, personalization and course creation rather than just selling generic training software.
Operations: Docebo generates about $258.9 million in revenue from educational software, with roughly $174.0 million from the United States, $71.4 million from the rest of the world and $13.5 million from Canada.
Docebo gives investors direct exposure to how AI and large language models are changing workplace training. Companies use Harmony Search and its analytics tools to surface relevant content, automate course building and plug learning data into broader business intelligence. The company is already profitable with recent net profit margins around 13% and is running a sizeable share buyback program that tightens the share count while it invests in AI features. At the same time, high debt, negative shareholder equity and questions around how quickly AI tools will translate into higher pricing and margins add to the level of risk. For investors seeking focused AI software exposure beyond the big platforms, Docebo may merit further research.
Docebo’s profitable AI training engine and active buybacks can be appealing, but its high debt and negative equity raise big questions about resilience. Get the full picture in the Docebo financial health report
Overview: Kinaxis is an Ottawa based software company that runs Kinaxis Maestro, an AI infused cloud platform that helps large enterprises plan and coordinate their supply chains by using AI agents to predict demand, manage inventory and automate decisions, while still being primarily known as a supply chain software specialist rather than a pure AI vendor.
Operations: Kinaxis generates about US$603.2 million in revenue from supply chain management software and related solutions, with roughly US$336.3 million from the United States, US$198.2 million from Europe, US$62.1 million from Asia and US$6.6 million from Canada.
Kinaxis gives investors a direct way to gain exposure to AI in the real economy because Maestro uses AI agents to run day to day supply chain decisions for manufacturers, pharma groups and logistics companies. Recent customer wins, such as Ansaldo Energia and ScottsMiracle Gro, indicate that large enterprises are adopting this approach. Profitability, improving margins and a growing SaaS base provide scope for continued investment in Maestro, although a relatively high P/E and insider selling in recent months suggest that expectations are already elevated. A key consideration for investors is whether Maestro can maintain its position as more rivals add AI to their own tools, which shapes the overall risk reward profile.
Kinaxis has an AI story that depends on whether Maestro can justify today’s high P/E or if expectations are already stretched. Get the full context in the analysis report for Kinaxis
Overview: Quantum eMotion is a Montreal based cybersecurity company that develops quantum based hardware and software to secure data, with products like eShield-Q providing quantum safe protection for AI and cloud workloads and Sentry-Q and eCore-Q supplying encryption and random number generation for cryptographic keys across sectors such as datacenters, IoT, finance and healthcare.
Quantum eMotion provides targeted exposure to the security infrastructure that AI and ChatGPT style services rely on, since eShield-Q is built to protect the cryptographic operations, keys and data that support LLMs and GPU cloud clusters. The planned integration of its quantum cybersecurity stack into Vertical Data Inc.’s GPU infrastructure indicates that real world AI workloads are testing this technology, even if current sales remain very small and losses widened to $8.32 million over the first half of 2026. High valuation on book value, sizeable funding needs and insider selling all increase the level of risk. For investors who view quantum safe AI security as a potential requirement rather than a niche, Quantum eMotion represents a high risk, high uncertainty candidate that may merit closer research.
Quantum eMotion’s tiny revenue base and widening $8.32 million loss sit next to a CA$621 million valuation that many investors may not have fully unpacked yet. See how the 1 key reward and 4 important warning signs (2 are major!) could shift the whole thesis

The Foxhole
A landmark settlement is meant to punish Meta (META). If the 1998 tobacco deal is any guide, it might protect it.
Any moat with an opt-out clause for your competitors is just a fence around your own garden.
Worth looking at what previous legal action actually did to Meta rather than reaching for tobacco. The FTC’s record five billion dollar privacy fine in 2019 was met with the stock rising, because it came in below fears and removed an open question. GDPR was designed to constrain large platforms and increased their share of the European ad market, because compliance cost fell hardest on small intermediaries. The FTC’s antitrust case, the one that could genuinely have broken the company up, was decided in Meta’s favour last November. The only thing that ever meaningfully hurt the business was Apple changing a tracking default, and Meta out-spent that too, while the ad-tech firms that could not afford to rebuild disappeared. The pattern is not that Meta survives regulation. It is that regulation keeps costing its smaller competitors more.
Great earnings season, but are the earnings real?
At first glance, this was the strongest earnings season in years. But when you look at where the growth actually came from, the story splits into two very different pictures.
