AI/ML Now: Data Analytics and AI in Chromatography 2027
ChromSoc’s Data Analytics and AI in Chromatography symposium will debate whether AI could ever replace chromatographers, alongside pharma case studies.
The Chromatographic Society (ChromSoc) is organizing a two-day symposium called Data Analytics and AI in Chromatographyrunningfrom May 10–11, 2027 in the Green Park Conference Centre in Reading, UK. Data analytics and artificial intelligence are moving from concept to routine practice in separation science. The program brings together speakers from AstraZeneca, Novartis, and Novo Nordisk with leading academic researchers. The program covers four themes: building reliable data foundations, implementation in pharma and CROs, predictive retention modeling, and the practical limits of AI in the lab. A headline panel will debate whether chromatographers could ever be replaced. The event is aimed at chromatographers, method development leads, laboratory directors, and researchers looking to bring machine learning into their workflows.
LCGC International spoke to Tony Edge, President of The Chromatographic Society, about the thinking behind the program and why separation scientists should attend.
