Mich. (WLUC) – A metaphysical-style market held its monthly gathering Tuesday evening on Ludington Street in Escanaba
Vendors like The Witchin’ Witch owner Heather Jensen find support within the group.
“I think it’s great. I mean, it’s hard to find people in the community that are like-minded, and that you know, are interested in the same types of things. And it’s just nice to be able to get together and get to know people and then also be able to offer some of the stuff we make to the community,” Jensen said.
Escanaba’s Monthly Magical Market offers a chance to discover a wide range of local artists, craftspeople and independent vendors. Shoppers can browse everything from handcrafted jewelry and natural products to candles, massages and other holistic arts.
Hosted at the Escanaba Marketplace on South 15th Street, the gathering also includes live entertainment and food trucks. The event takes place from 5-9 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month through October.
Organizers hope the market will introduce shoppers to a diverse group of local makers and the original products they create.
