GTT Communications, a leader in networking and security as a service for multinational organizations, expanded API access across GTT Envision, making it easier for enterprise and wholesale customers and Technology Services Distributor (TSD) partners to integrate GTT capabilities into their existing systems and workflows.
GTT Envision delivers connectivity, managed networking, security, cloud, voice and professional services as a unified networking, security and digital customer experience underpinned by GTT’s global Tier 1 backbone.
Adhering to REST standards and building on GTT’s existing API capabilities, GTT now offers enhanced APIs for service assurance ticketing for all GTT products and services, as well as two quoting APIs for high-volume connectivity products such as broadband, 5G Fixed Wireless Access and dedicated internet access (DIA) designed for TSDs and wholesale markets.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience integrating and managing global networks across six continents, GTT designed these new API capabilities to support and simplify the automation of networking management across multiple vendors and service types.
The new GTT Envision APIs include:
- Service Assurance Ticketing API for a simplified global incident and service request management
- Helps customers create, read, update and monitor incident and service request tickets directly from within their existing systems
- Offers complete ticket visibility, built-in governance and the ability to respond in real time through webhooks
- Supports all GTT services, including managed networking, security, cloud and professional services
- TSD and Wholesale Quoting APIs to speed up connectivity quoting
- Helps partners with instant quote creation and configuration and keeps information continuously synchronized between their own systems and GTT Envision
- Leverages the GenAI-powered address validation from GTT EnvisionDX across 11 million serviceable business addresses and site options from more than 3,000 connectivity partners to deliver accurate and confirmed pricing
- Supports TSD quotes for broadband, 5G Fixed Wireless Access and DIA
- Supports wholesale partner quotes for broadband, 5G Fixed Wireless Access, Ethernet and DIA
