Meijer reminds shoppers of in-store medication disposal kiosks
Meijer is reminding customers that they can dispose of unwanted, unused and expired medications at drug take-back kiosks located in its in-store pharmacies, according to a WKYT News report.
The supermarket brand highlighted the free service ahead of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, emphasizing that customers can use the kiosks year round.
Since launching its drug take-back program in 2019, Meijer has collected more than 350 tons of medications, including more than 50 tons so far in 2026, according to the news outlet. The program provides customers with a convenient way to dispose of medications they no longer <a href="https://bitcomme.com/the-leadership-fix-canadian-jobsites-need-2/” title=”The leadership fix Canadian jobsites need”>need while helping prevent misuse and improper disposal.
The secure collection kiosks are available during regular pharmacy hours, eliminating the need for customers to wait for special collection events.
