S.C. (WIS) – The Walmart Neighborhood Market on Pinewood Road in Sumter has been reopened with a new remodel
The store reopened Friday after a four-week closure to “improve the overall shopping experience.”
The reopening was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony bringing together community members and store associates.
“This store has been rooted in the community since 2018 and today’s celebration reflects how proud we are to continue growing and investing here,” said store manager Saidu Ibrahim.
As part of the celebration, Walmart donated a total of $3,500 to local organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Temple Christian School and Ronald McDonald House.
The updated store includes a fresh paintjob and lightning, expanded aisles, online app upgrades, pharmacy improvements, and a new sushi bar.
The Sumter location is open daily and serves as a convenient all in one destination.
