MOSCOW, Aug 7 (Reuters) – In the space of three weeks, Vasily Klimov’s online shopping pick-up point in Moscow has gone from a healthy small business to a loss-making operation he is now desperately trying to sell.

Ukraine hit at least two warehouses belonging toRussia’s e-commerce giant Wildberries in overnight strikes on Monday, adding to a series of drone attacks that have targeted the online retailer.

Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Russia’s primary e-commerce platform Wildberries have inflicted at least 100 billion rubles ($1.2 billion) in direct damages on the marketplace, threatening to plunge the company into years of unprofitability, an independent news outlet, The Bell, reported on August 5.
