The Financial Accounting Foundationannouncedthat Hillary H. Salo will become the next chair of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), effective July 1, 2027. Salo, who currently serves as FASB’s vice chair, will lead the organization through June 30, 2034.

Hillary Salo, who currently serves as vice chair of the Financial Accounting Standards Board and chair of the Emerging Issues Task Force, will succeed Richard Jones as FASB chair next year.
