Protego Ventures has closed its first fund at $125 million, establishing what the firm described as Israel’s first dedicated venture vehicle focused on early‑growth defense technology companies. The announcement comes as XTEND, the fund’s first portfolio company, completed its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange at a valuation of $1.5 billion.
