Oct 30 (Reuters) – OpenAI said on Friday it is tightening limits on the weapons-related information ChatGPT provides to teens, even ‌when a question appears harmless, as part of new safeguards ‌aimed at preventing real-world violence.

OpenAI has reversed its planned ChatGPT Pro 200 usage cut. It is also doubling the Work and Codex allowance on Pro 100 and Pro 500, while bringing lower-allowance Pro 200 subscriptions up to the higher level.

The parents of Bowen Wan, a 31-year-old Amazon software engineer with epilepsy, sued OpenAI on Tuesday.
