Shopify stock closed at USD 151.39 on Nasdaq on October 2, 2026, up USD 2.30 or 1.54 percent from the prior close. The company is extending its commerce infrastructure into AI-led purchases, with browser-based agents able to use Shopify checkout and Shop Pay after customer authorization, as Yahoo Finance reported on October 2, 2026.

Shopify (SHOP) closed at $148.26 in the latest trading session, marking a +2.95% move from the prior day. The stock outperformed the S&P 500, which registered a daily loss of 0.17%. At the same time, the Dow lost 0.26%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq lost 0.09%.
