Waterloo, Ontario-based Descartes, a provider of logistics based on-demand, software-as-a-service offerings, announced today it has acquired El Segundo, Calif.-based Extensiv, a provider of warehouse management and fulfillment services for third-party logistics (3PL) providers and the brands they serve.
