In late August, a teenager was arrested in Montreal, Canada. He was suspected of planning a school attack, motivated by an extremist ideology. While details of this case are still concealed, one aspect seemed particularly noteworthy: the teenager “is alleged to have used artificial intelligence in the potential planning of an attack”, according to the police.
