Madison Capital Group has appointed Chris Best as Managing Director to lead the firm’s expansion across registered investment advisor and family office channels.
In this role, Best will oversee capital-raising initiatives, distribution strategy, and team development as Madison Capital Group works to broaden access to its alternative real estate investment strategies for <a href="https://bitcomme.com/umb-financial-umbf-q3-earnings-what-to-expect/” title=”UMB Financial (UMBF) Q3 earnings: what to expect”>financial advisors and family offices.
Best brings more than two decades of experience in capital formation, alternative investments, and fund distribution. Throughout his career, he has directed the placement of billions of dollars across public and private fund structures.
Before joining Madison Capital Group, Best served as a director at Core Spaces. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 16 years at Sterling Capital Management, where he ultimately served as Executive Director and Senior Client Strategist.
Madison Capital Group said the hire is part of a broader strategy to deepen its presence in the wealth management market and build relationships with RIAs and family offices seeking alternative investment opportunities.
The firm plans to use Best’s industry relationships and distribution experience to introduce more financial professionals to Madison Capital Group’s real estate strategies, including tax-advantaged investment structures.
Best said RIAs and family offices are increasingly looking beyond traditional public-market investments as they seek portfolio diversification, tax efficiency, and long-term wealth preservation.
