Cooper will work alongside HealthEdge’s investment team and portfolio company management teams, bringing extensive operating and strategic experience across healthcare services, medical devices and distribution, and business services.
He already serves as Lead Director at three HealthEdge portfolio companies: Alatus Solutions, Custom Protect Ear, and Veridian Healthcare. His appointment as Operating Partner broadens his involvement across the firm’s investment and portfolio management activities.
Cooper has held senior leadership positions across both public and private companies. His previous roles include leading Secure, Presbia, and NVISION, as well as serving as Vice President and General Manager of Henry Schein Medical.
His experience spans medical transportation, ophthalmology, and medical and surgical products. Cooper also spent several years as a senior partner in management consulting, where he worked with management teams on strategic direction and value creation initiatives.
Cooper has served on boards across privately held, publicly traded, and private equity-backed businesses, providing him with experience across different ownership structures and operating environments.
