Larson Gross Adds ScaleUp Financial Solutions in Denver
Larson Gross, an INSIDE Public Accounting top 200 firm, has brought aboard ScaleUp Financial Solutions, a Denver-based company that provides fractional CFO and accounting services to businesses, effective Oct. 2.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. The ScaleUp brand will remain as part of the Larson Gross family of brands.
According to Larson Gross’s website, this is the Bellingham, WA-based firm’s third M&A deal in 2026. Earlier this year it joined forces with Newport Beach, CA-based accounting firm Liptz & Associates and Seattle-area accounting firm Perry, Shelton, Walker, and Associates.
In a media release, Larson Gross says the deal with ScaleUp reflects its “continued commitment to thoughtful growth that expands access to specialized consulting expertise and advisory resources while maintaining a client-first approach.”
“We’re excited to welcome the ScaleUp team to the Larson Gross family of brands,” Larson Gross CEO Kelli Visser said in a statement on Oct. 13. “Their deep expertise and client-first mindset, plus strong brand reputation in the marketplace, supports our growth strategy to expand service offerings while also serving clients in a high-touch, relationship-centered manner.”
The ScaleUp team provides a full range of fractional CFO, controller, and outsourced accounting services to businesses. The company also provides strategic finance, forecasting, key peformance indicator tracking, capital advisory, and M&A support.
The combination also provides ScaleUp access to Larson Gross’s investments in artificial intelligence, automation, and other modern technology.
ScaleUp clients also gain a deeper bench across tax, audit, valuation, and technology consulting, officials say.
Larson Gross became a partner firm of Current (formerly Crete Professionals Alliance), a national partnership of accounting and advisory firms, in February 2025. Founded by Jake Sloane and Frank Zhang of New York City-based investment firm ZBS Partners in 2023, Current is backed by venture capital firm Thrive Capital.
