New Tools for Merchants
Meta’s Muse AI agent integrates with PayPal and Shopify.Meta has partnered with PayPal and Shopify on Muse, Meta’s personal AI agent that has risen to the top of Apple’s App Store rankings. Muse acts on instructions, letting shoppers move through the buying process without completing each step themselves. PayPal is working with Meta to support purchases made through Muse. Shopify’s collaboration will enable agentic checkout through Shop Pay, the company’s payment service.
Amazon launches multichannel selling tools in Seller Central.Amazon‘s new Seller Central capability helps manage listings, orders, and profitability across all external channels. Sellers can connect their eBay, Shopify, TikTok, and Walmart accounts to Seller Central, with more channels coming. Off-Amazon data remains secure and private, accessible to the seller. Sellers can visit the multichannel settings page to get started.
Merchants can now add Prime delivery to their own websites.Amazon has announced two new supply chain services to U.S. merchants. New and existing Multichannel Fulfillment merchants can add free Prime delivery on their own websites at no additional cost. Additionally, through the new MCF Preferred Pricing Program, merchants can save 15-25% on fulfillment fees across their own websites, marketplaces, and social channels
Square integrates Apple Business to help local merchants on Apple Maps.Square, a point-of-sale platform, launched an integration that lets Square sellers connect their locations to Apple Business from their Square Dashboard. Sellers can manage location data across Apple Maps, Siri AI, Apple Wallet, and other Apple apps and services. Sellers can also add action links such as Menu, Order, Pickup, Delivery, Book, or Schedule Appointment.
Trustpilot launches dedicated Product Review Pages and brand intelligence tools.Trustpilot, a customer reviews platform, has launched features to help businesses show up in AI search, including Product Review Pages that give individual products their own presence on Trustpilot. The launch also includes expanded Location Reviews, AI Search Market Insights, and a beta for Trustpilot AI, helping businesses improve visibility across products, locations, and brands, and gain insights to act on customer feedback.
YouTube expands commerce platform in India, adds partnerships.YouTube Shopping is expanding in India, building retail partnerships and introducing new AI tools. The expansion includes its partnership with Amazon, along with new affiliate partners AJIO, Meesho, Snapdeal, and Tata CLiQ. YouTube Shopping is also rolling out tools to help viewers, including Ask YouTube for Shopping, Ask Studio for generating pitch materials, and automatic product tag updates to localize offers.
RocketBench launches AI-first WordPress development plan.RocketBench, a software development platform, has launched an AI-first WordPress development subscription. RocketBench accesses a site’s URL, finds the work the site needs, and presents those tasks and the evidence behind them to the would-be customer. Per RocketBench, every proposed change is built with AI, reviewed by a senior engineer, and staged privately on the customer’s own site for approval.
Attentive enhances AI reporting for brands and marketers.Attentive, an omnichannel marketing platform, has updated its agentic AI tools with three capabilities. Product Affinity enables marketers to build dynamic audiences around customer interest in specific products and categories. Recency, Frequency, and Monetary Value details when and how often customers buy and how much they spend. Customer Lifetime Value helps merchants understand what customers have spent and may spend
Landmark Global launches cross-border app for Shopify.Landmark Global, a provider of cross-border ecommerce logistics services, has launched an app on the Shopify App Store. The app simplifies cross-border commerce for merchants expanding into international markets, from direct-to-consumer brands to marketplace sellers. Merchants can configure international shipping preferences, calculate the full landed cost in real time, offer multiple shipping options, generate shipping labels, and manage fulfillment directly within Shopify, according to Landmark.
DoorDash introduces Brand Center for advanced insights and management.DoorDash, an on-demand delivery and marketplace platform, has introduced Brand Center to provide merchants a view of what’s driving growth across the digital and physical shelf. New capabilities built on top of advertising tools help brands improve how their products appear on the DoorDash marketplace. Brands can identify assortment and content gaps, including missing listings and incomplete product details. Eligible brands get direct control over product images, descriptions, and categories, DoorDash says.
Baselayer raises $35 million for agentic identity technology.Baselayer, an identity and risk infrastructure company, has raised a $35 million Series A led by M13. Baselayer serves financial institutions and payments companies and is extending that same infrastructure to autonomous AI agents. Baselayer states that it works with agent builders, card networks, and leading financial institutions and payments companies, including Fidelity Information Services, Prove Identify, Socure, Exa, Parallel Web Systems, Natural, Nevermined, Lane Financial, and more.
Yuma launches AI voice agent for live customer support calls.Yuma AI, a customer support platform for ecommerce, has launched Voice AI, adding phone calls to the channels its AI support agent handles. On a live call, the AI agent identifies the caller, retrieves order history, and executes changes including address corrections, order cancellations, item removals, refunds, and subscription updates. The AI agent confirms each change verbally with the customer. Yuma records and transcribes every call into the merchant’s helpdesk.
Postscript launches email on its retention platform.Postscript, a customer retention platform for ecommerce brands, has added email to its SMS product. The new add-on unifies multiple email addresses, phone numbers, and Shopify records into one profile; four configurable attribution models; and migration tooling that brings over existing flows, segments, and templates. The company also announced its Agentic Context Platform, which acts on a shopper’s context at the moment of send.
Logistics-platform Locus launches Delivery Promise Management.Locus, a logistics technology provider, has launched Delivery Promise Management, which connects checkout with a merchant’s real-time logistics data. According to Locus, the capability checks every backend delivery component, from the cutoff at the origin warehouse, through the delivery station, and ending with the vehicle’s route at the door. Shoppers see the components to know what a network can support.
Spins launches Agentic Discovery for CPG brands.Spins, a provider of consumer-packaged-goods data, insights, and commerce tools, has launched Agentic Discovery to reveal how products appear in AI-generated recommendations. Powered by Spins’ Product Knowledge Graph, the tool connects product attributes, retail performance, and shopper intent, enabling brands to improve how AI systems understand and recommend their products, according to Spins. Agentic Discovery leverages AI auditing, revenue-based optimization, and knowledge graph integration.
ReturnPro acquires iF Returns, expanding technology capabilities and global reach.ReturnPro, a returns management and recommerce platform, has acquired iF Returns, an enterprise technology platform serving more than 200 brands across Europe. ReturnPro plans to make iF Returns’ front-end technology capabilities available to existing customers, including sellers across marketplaces such as Walmart.
AsiaPay launches Voice Pay.AsiaPay, a digital payment and technology provider in Asia, has launched Voice Pay, an AI-powered payment experience that lets consumers speak into their mobile device and instruct payment using their preferred method, from digital wallets to cards. AsiaPay connects the voice instruction to the customer’s chosen payment method, while its intelligent payment engine manages authentication, routing, fraud protection, and processing.
