Wipro announced on Tuesday the expansion of its partnership with Palo Alto Networks to deliver AI-driven Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services. According to an exchange filing, this collaboration integrates Palo Alto Networks’ Cortex XSIAM platform with Wipro’s CyberShieldSM managed security services, creating a focused offering for modern security operations. The new offering aims to enhance proactive cyber defense through simplified workflows that leverage machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), and automation. This integration is designed to enable faster detection and response across complex environments, filtering out noise to improve analyst efficiency and focus on critical threats.Wipro’s WEGA and WINGS AI delivery platforms, part of its Wipro Intelligence suite, support this offering, which is increasingly relevant as organizations face a rapidly evolving threat landscape. Satish Yadavalli, Global Business Head – Cloud, Infrastructure and Security Services at Wipro, emphasized the growing need for robust governance and strategic cost management amid accelerated AI adoption. He stated, “Together with Palo Alto Networks, we are able to transform security operations through AI, automation, and platform consolidation, strengthening organizations’ security environments while optimizing costs and improving outputs.”This expanded relationship builds on Wipro’s existing engagement with Palo Alto Networks in cloud, network, and security transformation, reflecting a rising demand from clients for integrated AI-led security operations. Wipro’s shares closed at Rs 174.39 on the NSE, down 3.21 percent.
