Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, officially opened the new EO Bahrain headquarters.
The launch underscores Bahrain’s ongoing dedication to nurturing entrepreneurship, innovation and private-sector advancement under the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Their foresight and backing for economic progress continue to foster conditions where enterprises and entrepreneurs can flourish, innovate and generate fresh opportunities.
Mohammed Abdulali Al Aali, President of EO Bahrain, voiced his pleasure at Adel Fakhro performing the inauguration of the EO headquarters, noting that it highlighted the significance of entrepreneurship and the essential contribution the private sector makes to Bahrain’s economic progress.
Al Aali described the headquarters as far more than a mere physical location, calling it a pledge to cultivate more capable entrepreneurs, generate opportunities and add to the expansion of the national economy. He expressed pride in the organisation’s path since 2004 and anticipated an even more ambitious tomorrow for EO Bahrain and the entrepreneurs it supports.
He observed that the new headquarters constitutes a major stride in EO Bahrain’s advancement, offering a devoted venue for entrepreneurs to network, acquire knowledge, share insights and hone their leadership abilities. It will additionally function as a place for cooperation, relationship-building and the creation of fresh prospects for commercial expansion.
Al Aali further stated that Bahrain’s welcoming and forward-looking commercial climate, advantageous geographic position, domestic workforce and robust institutional framework offer a dependable basis for entrepreneurs and companies aiming to set up, develop and scale up.
Founded in Bahrain in 2004, EO Bahrain has evolved into a network of over 50 entrepreneurs, spanning more than 12 economic sectors, such as industry, technology, construction, healthcare, financial services and logistics.
The enterprises linked to EO Bahrain members together provide employment for over 5,118 full-time staff and produce yearly income surpassing $150 million, demonstrating the concrete input of entrepreneurs to Bahrain’s economy.
