Reports Emerge of Possible Veradigm Security Breach
Veradigm, a healthcare data solutions and practice management company formerly known as Allscripts, may have suffered a data breach.
According to a September 5, 2026 post on dark web monitoring site Ransomware.live, hacker group The Gentlemen was behind the attack and claimed to have acquired over 3.5 million personal patient records containing names, contact information, Social Security numbers and other sensitive data. The suspected attack was estimated to have occurred the day before the post was made.
HookPhish, another cybersecurity blog, similarly reported that The Gentlemen claimed to be responsible for an attack on the publicly traded healthcare company.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Veradigm data breach.
Previously, Veradigm had fallen victim to data breaches in December 2024 and July 2025.
