Access Holdings board approves audited H1 Results, awaits CBN clearance
AccessHoldings Plc has approved its audited financial statements for the first half of 2026, setting the stage for the release of the group’s performance figures to shareholders and investors.
The Board of Directors approved the Group’s Audited Interim Consolidated and Separate Financial Statements for the six months ended June 30, 2026, at its meeting held on August 27.
The approval is the latest step in the company’s financial reporting process, with the statements now subject to the required regulatory procedures, including approval by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Access Holdings said it would publish the audited results through the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) once regulatory approval has been obtained.
The company added that the financial statements would also be made available to shareholders, investors and other stakeholders through its established communication channels.
The development comes as Access Holdings continues to position itself as a diversified financial services group with operations spanning banking and other financial services across Africa and international markets.
In a statement, the company said the process reflected its commitment to strong corporate governance, regulatory compliance and transparent communication with its stakeholders.
The publication of the audited H1 results is expected to provide investors with a clearer picture of the group’s financial performance during the first six months of the year and its progress across its various markets.
Access Holdings, one of Nigeria’s major financial services groups, has continued to pursue a broader expansion strategy aimed at building a more connected and resilient financial services business with a wider international footprint.
The company, however, did not disclose details of its revenue, profit, assets or other financial performance indicators in the notice announcing the Board’s approval. Those figures are expected to become available when the audited statements are formally released following CBN approval.
Meanwhile, Access Holdings said it would remain in a closed period in accordance with the NGX Issuers’ Rules until 24 hours after the audited financial statements are released to the public.
During the closed period, the company’s directors, insiders and their connected persons are prohibited from dealing, directly or indirectly, in the securities of Access Holdings Plc.
The restriction is part of the regulatory framework designed to prevent trading based on unpublished price-sensitive information ahead of the release of a company’s financial results.
Access Holdings said the process of obtaining regulatory clearance and subsequently publishing the results was being undertaken in line with applicable rules and its commitment to keeping the investing public properly informed.
The company is expected to notify the market once the CBN approval is received and the audited H1 2026 financial statements are cleared for publication.
