Fishbowl Inventory has acquired Repfabric, an AI-enabled CRM and commission management platform built for manufacturers, manufacturers’ representatives, distributors, and wholesalers.
The acquisition is designed to create a more integrated software platform spanning customer relationships, sales pipelines, commissions, inventory, purchasing, warehousing, manufacturing, and order fulfillment.
Fishbowl is targeting a common challenge for small and midsized industrial businesses whose sales and operational functions often operate across separate software systems.
Founded in 2015, Repfabric provides specialized workflows that extend beyond a conventional CRM. Its software processes customer emails, imports sales and commission information from represented manufacturers, and tracks commission data by product line, territory, and customer.
Repfabric also uses AI for email processing, quoting, order tracking, and sales insights.
Fishbowl complements those capabilities with AI-powered inventory, manufacturing, and order management technology for small and midsized manufacturers and distributors.
An integration between Fishbowl and Repfabric is already under development.
The combined platform is also intended to give Fishbowl customers access to a purpose-built industrial CRM while providing Repfabric customers with a path into Fishbowl’s inventory and manufacturing technology.
Diversis Capital is an investor in Fishbowl and focuses on lower-middle-market software and technology businesses.
“Repfabric is an outstanding platform that understands the unique needs and challenges of manufacturers and sales organizations. Bringing our companies together will create new opportunities to help customers streamline operations, improve visibility, and grow more efficiently over the long term.”

“Fishbowl has built a strong platform for growth, and this acquisition is a natural next step in that strategy. Repfabric’s team and technology are a strong complement to Fishbowl’s, and we’re glad to support both organizations as they bring this combined vision to life for customers.”
