Fisent Technologies has closed a $4.3 million funding round led by venture capital firm FINTOP, as the company expands adoption of its Applied GenAI Process Automation platform among regulated enterprises. The round included continued participation from strategic investor Pegasystems, bringing the company’s total funding to $6.3 million. As part of the investment, FINTOP Partner John Philpott has joined Fisent’s Board of Directors.
The investment follows a period of rapid growth for Fisent as regulated enterprises expand production deployments of artificial intelligence to automate complex business processes. The company secured its first Fortune 50 customer in 2026 and expects to add several more before year-end. In 2025, Fisent reported 206% year-over-year revenue growth, 173% net revenue retention and zero customer churn for the third consecutive year.
Fisent plans to use the new funding to expand its enterprise go-to-market team, strengthen customer enablement and deployment engineering capabilities, accelerate product development and broaden distribution through workflow and technology partnerships, including its longstanding relationship with Pegasystems.
The company’s BizAI platform helps regulated enterprises automate workflows involving unstructured content that traditionally require manual review and expert judgment. By applying agentic AI within existing enterprise systems and governance frameworks, the platform enables organizations to automate knowledge-intensive processes while maintaining operational controls.
Fisent recently introduced BizAI Studio, a self-service environment that allows business users to build, deploy and refine end-to-end automation workflows without relying on IT departments.
“Enterprises are moving beyond AI experimentation and choosing the capabilities they can trust to operate at scale,” said Adrian Murray, founder and CEO of Fisent. “Our customers are expanding BizAI across business functions because it delivers reliable outcomes within the systems and controls they already have.”
Philpott said enterprise adoption increasingly depends on AI platforms that can be deployed, governed and scaled within complex operating environments rather than simply demonstrating technical capability.
“AI software is becoming easier to build, but deploying, governing, and improving it inside a complex enterprise remains difficult,” Philpott said. “Fisent has differentiated itself through production performance, hands-on enterprise enablement, expansion within large customers and a strong partner-led distribution model.”
Founded in Toronto, Fisent provides AI-powered process automation software for Fortune 500 organizations across banking, insurance, wealth management and other regulated industries, helping enterprises transform document-driven workflows into automated business processes.
