Adobe’s AI agent for marketing teams now works inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Databricks Genie, the company said on Wednesday. Adobe expects Amazon Quick, IBM and Snowflake to follow soon.
The agent, CX Enterprise Coworker, plans and runs customer experience work across Adobe’s marketing software. In ChatGPT, it comes as a plugin. Adobe made the agent generally available in June.
What the agent does
Adobe says the agent tracks campaign results and trends. It also forecasts audiences, improves customer journeys and helps with planning and project management. It runs with human oversight. It is built on two open standards for AI agents: the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A).
Anjul Bhambhri leads engineering for the product at Adobe.
“Today, marketers often use AI tools in isolation, without the organizational context and domain intelligence needed to personalize every stage of the customer lifecycle,” Bhambhri said.
New connectors
Adobe also launched connectors that link the agent to other companies’ systems through ready-made MCP servers. Partners include Amazon Ads, Demandbase, Microsoft Work IQ, RainFocus and Snowflake. There is also a connector for Meta ad campaigns. Marketers can then pull data and take actions across several systems with a single request, Adobe said.
Consulting firms including Accenture, Deloitte Digital, EY, IBM and PwC are building industry-specific versions of the agent. Agencies such as dentsu, Havas, Omnicom, Publicis and WPP also add their own tools to it.
Rob Howard runs Copilot’s platform and extensibility work at Microsoft.
“This gives marketing teams the speed and flexibility to orchestrate more personalized experiences at scale,” Howard said.
Adobe inside other AI tools
Adobe says more than 20,000 brands use its software for content, customer engagement and brand visibility. In August, it put its creative tools inside ChatGPT. It has also signed agentic AI deals with Jet2 for holidays and Heathrow’s new website.
