BOMBSHELL: eMedia Accuses MultiChoice of Brazen Dishonouring of Judicial Ruling
In a shocking turn of events, broadcaster eMedia has taken MultiChoice Group to the competition appeal court for breaching a tribunal order in flagrant disregard for the law.
It appears that SuperSport, a subsidiary of MultiChoice Group, has entered into a “cringeworthy” sports sublicensing agreement with the SABC, in plain contravention of the tribunal’s April ruling.
<p)eMedia’s chief financial officer, Antonio Lee, made the explosive allegations in his founding affidavit to the court, stating that SuperSport and the SABC have orchestrated a "course of conduct to breach and subvert the order of the tribunal".
