Hi,

I have a condo in a old mill building. The building is about 100 years old (maybe older).

The ceiling fell down in my unit (about 300 sf) and my insurance said that it was installed incorrected and therefore I was rejected. I ended up fixing the issue and it cost me $12k.

I don’t know how old the ceiling is. I will assume it is at least 50 years old but it could be older or newer.

Do you think I have any recourse?
